About Cortland Housing Assistance Council, Inc.

The Cortland Housing Assistance Council, Inc. has provided housing counseling services to the community since 1981 and received certification from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development in 1992. Cortland Housing Assistance Council Inc.'s primary goal is to assist those in need of safe, decent, sanitary, affordable housing.

Our Services Are Available To All Of Cortland County

Mission Statement

The mission of the Cortland Housing Assistance Council, Inc. shall be to marshall the financial, technical, professional, and other resources of Cortland County or available to Cortland County, and apply them to the task of combating community deterioration and to secure decent, safe and sanitary housing at low and moderate costs for economically disadvantaged citizens of this county, under the guidance of their representatives toward fuller participation in the community and the benefits thereof.
